This world-class exhibition is organised in partnership with the South African Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SAIRAC) and is Africa’s largest dedicated heating, energy, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HEVAC&R) trade exhibition, taking place from 6–8 June at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, South Africa.
Taking place once in every three years, FRIGAIR offers all HEVAC&R role-players the opportunity to experience the latest the market has to offer. Visitors to the show will be able to connect with over 140 local and international exhibitors, source world-class brands and products, view live demonstrations and engage with leading experts for technical advice. Many new products will be unveiled and loads of prizes will be up for grabs in the various lucky draws taking place across the three days.
Visitors will learn about the latest industry trends and technologies, especially around the industry’s crucial role in the rapid development of eco-friendly, energy efficient and sustainable technologies for the future. This increasing drive towards efficiency has led to great innovation in the HEVAC&R sector and FRIGAIR offers a platform to showcase these new technologies and products to industry.
Free-to-attend seminars hosted by SAIRAC
Three days of free-to-attend seminars will be hosted by SAIRAC during FRIGAIR as part of their commitment to further the education of the HEVAC&R industry. These seminars will take place in Hall 5 and feature local and international industry experts from all over the HEVAC&R spectrum. These talks are a must for anyone who wants to stay on the pulse of industry’s hottest developments and innovations.
International speakers presenting ASHRAE courses
Another of the highlights at FRIGAIR this year will be the three international ASHRAE speakers, specially flown in to present the three courses and to share their wealth of global knowledge. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is the global HEVAC&R industry leader with more than 50 000 members worldwide. Their training courses are internationally recognised and of the highest calibre.
Each short course is three hours in duration and those attending will be able to earn CPD points. The courses available are ‘Designing and Operating High-Performing Healthcare HVAC Systems’, taking place on 6 June from 09h00 until 12h00; ‘Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems: Design and Application’, taking place on 6 June from 13h00 until 16h00; and ‘Basics of High-Performance Building Design’, taking place on 7 June from 13h00 until 16h00. Each course costs R1 200 for SAIRAC/ASHRAE members and R1 750 for non-members.
Bookings for the ASHRAE courses are essential as space is limited. For more information on the course outline, speaker profiles and to book to attend, visit the FRIGAIR website www.frigairexpo.co.za
FRIGAIR to present Africa’s first ATMOsphere event!
The first ever ATMOsphere event on the African continent will be held during FRIGAIR in association with shecco, a Belgium-based company that has been active in the global HEVAC&R industry for over 15 years. Bringing further international flair to the expo and promoting the uptake of natural refrigerants in South Africa and beyond, ATMOsphere is firmly established as the world’s leading conference series on natural refrigerants.
Those attending can look forward to presentations by an impressive mix of both international and local experts. The opportunity is ripe for natural refrigerants to take centre stage in global efforts to reduce the climate impact of HEVAC&R technologies.
This world-class ATMOsphere event will take place alongside FRIGAIR in Hall 3 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, on Thursday 7 June from 15h00 until 19h00 and is free to attend, although it is essential to pre-register for this event.
