2. Gallagher’s social media competitions are open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or over except employees of Gallagher Convention Centre, their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3. Gallagher Convention Centre will never charge an entry fee to enter any competitions.
4. By entering any competition on the Gallagher Convention Centre Facebook page, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Unless otherwise stipulated by the specific competition, only one entry will be accepted per person.
6. Closing dates for entries to competitions will be stated with the competition on the Gallagher Convention Centre Facebook page. After the specified date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
7. No responsibility will be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants on the Gallagher Convention Centre social media platform, as soon as possible by the promoter.
9. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party.
10. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
11. Unless otherwise specified, winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Gallagher and or its agents. Some competitions might require the winner to be selected as a result of a popular vote conducted via social media sites as measured and recorded and verified by Gallagher and or its agents.
12. Winners will be notified by Direct Message on Facebook within 28 days of the closing date.
13. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
14. The promoter will notify winners when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
15. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with competitions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
17. Any Gallagher Convention Centre winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.
18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network.
19. Gallagher Convention Centre will not discriminate against anyone based on race, religion, age, gender, or sexual orientation.
20. Gallagher Convention Centre does not allow any form of hate speech on any of our Social Media pages. Participants who display hateful or violent behaviour on the Gallagher pages will be disqualified from the competition and removed from the Gallagher Convention Centre page.
21. The Winner will be announced by 28 February 2018.
22. This prize is not transferable. It may not be sold for cash or traded.
23. The prize is valid until 10 December 2018.
