Securex South Africa 2018 will return to Gallagher Convention Centre once again, from 22 to 24 May. As the only security and fire trade show of its kind on the African continent, 2018 will see the show celebrate its 25th year.
Co-located with A-OSH EXPO, Africa’s leading occupational safety and health trade exhibition, Securex 2018 will feature more than 160 exhibiting companies, showcasing a full range of security-related products and services, as well as a free-to-attend seminar theatre keeping attendees abreast of the latest in security trends with more than 20 highly topical sessions.
One of the highlights of the 2018 show is the brand-new Cyber Lab, powered by XGRC Software, to boost awareness of information security through an interactive approach. The Securex app has also been launched for this year’s expo, providing visitors with all of the show’s info at their fingertips.
Pseudo Scent and Dogs SA will be holding regular live demonstrations of highly trained security and detection dogs. In addition, the South African Intruder Detection Services Association (SAIDSA) will be honouring its own 50th birthday milestone at Securex 2018 with a breakfast, while running its Tech-man competition at the expo, where SAIDSA-certified technicians will compete against one another in a practical challenge.
The Fire Protection of South Africa’s (FPASA) InFIRes workshop will take place at Securex 2018 once again, catering for insurance technical staff and providing feedback on FPASA projects.
