The African Construction and Totally Concrete Expo is Africa’s only multidisciplinary built environment show focusing on buyer and seller engagements through free-to-attend content, indoor and outdoor exhibitions and targeted networking. It caters for the entire African construction, cement and concrete industries.
This global interactive show features over 200 exhibitors from 65 countries, displaying latest construction products and innovative solutions across eight dedicated sectors including construction; concrete; digital construction; mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP); surfaces and finishes; tools and equipment, smart buildings / eco build and solar.
Taking place on 16 and 17 May 2018 at Gallagher Convention Centre, the expo will unite over 9 500 built environment stakeholders for two days of learning, networking and deal-making.
The event opens with a keynote session which will address the challenge of industry transformation and delivering cities of tomorrow in the African context. The keynote session focuses on professional and academic engagement with ordinary people, small contractors, architects and underprivileged groups operating in Africa’s built environment, but it also recognizes that transformation and empowerment are key to unlocking the future potential of the continent through metropolitan infrastructure and job creation construction industry both locally and across Africa.
Learning is a key focus of the event and over 35 free workshops will take place over the two days offering training to various construction professionals including architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and contractors.
The event also features a number of co-located events including the African Smart Cities Summit, the Facilities Management Expo and the African Construction Awards.
