The annual MyBroadband Conference took place at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand yesterday, with 4,000 delegates from the IT and telecoms industry attending.
The MyBroadband Conference once again proved why it is the premier IT and telecoms event in South Africa, with the country’s top IT and telecommunications companies partnering with MyBroadband for the conference.
Telkom and Neotel were lead and co-lead sponsors respectively, with Vodacom, DFA, and Huawei the Title, Executive, and Diamond sponsors respectively.
SEACOM was the official connectivity partner at the MyBroadband Conference, and provided a record-breaking 10Gbps of Internet bandwidth to attendees for free.
The event also gave delegates great insight into the IT and telecoms market, with presentations by Telkom’s Chief Commercial Officer Brian Armstrong, Neotel’s Head of Data Centres and Managed Services Angus Hay, Vodacom CEO Shameel Joosub, DFA Chief Strategy Officer Reshaad Sha, SEACOM Chief Development Officer Suveer Ramdhani, and Huawei’s Cross-Domain Consultant Maurice Borman.
Delegates were also able to see the latest products and services on offer from South Africa’s top IT and telecoms companies in the conference’s exhibition hall, which was constantly brimming with IT executives and managers.
