Spring is a time of rebirth, and this is not just limited to nature. Forget about modest and reserved décor – this season calls for regeneration and vibrancy.

The director of Unlimited Events Operations, Jerry Ntsele, recommends you keep the following trends in mind when planning your table decorations.

Vibrant florals

Floral Decor
This is the perfect time to let bright and beautiful flowers be one of your main event décor choices. Combining peonies, roses, lily of the valley, lavender, sweet pea, freesias or roses will not only make your event look beautiful, the flowers will give your guests a charming scent, sure to have them in awe of your event décor! 

Pretty pastels 

Bold, vibrant colours might come to mind when you think of spring, but this year, pastels are making a major comeback. Expect 2017 spring décor to showcase soft mint shades, nude pastels, baby hues and pastel blue sky palettes. What’s great about pastel décor, is that it always looks elegant and makes it super-easy to combine different colours in the same hues. 

Metallics

Floral Decor
This year metallic is really in! Rose gold, silver, white gold, gold and copper are a sure win. Bringing a touch of sophistication to any event, metallic elements in your event décor add the perfect finishing touches. 

Geometric shapes

Not only are geometric patterns, circles, triangles and pyramids big on the High Street runways, they’re a hot trend in event décor this spring. Combining them with pastels and succulents makes an excellent focal point and dramatic statement for your event. 

Décor can make or break the impression event planners want to create. Using these themes in the décor for your next event will wow guests, and make your event unforgettable.

We make use of well trained, certified, friendly, efficient and helpful staff that will assist in any situation and will provide direct information on any queries. All Seriti Security Services staff are dressed in full, visible branded uniform and are equipped with two-way radios, for fast and effective problem-solving.

 

Seriti Security Services provides event stewards at entrances, loading bays, emergency exits, as well as floor patrol minders.

Gallagher Disaster Management Division

Gallagher Convention Centre has a disaster management division tasked with ensuring that the legal requirements are met for all events. The Gallagher Disaster Management division will be able to provide you with a complete disaster management solution at a very competitive price, no matter the format or size of your event. These services include floor plan evaluation and comment, JOC file compilation and submission as well as designer stand plan submission. Our disaster management division will facilitate EMS inspections, communicate any issues that might arise and assist with the formulation of solutions for issues that were identified. This service includes an onsite safety officer for the duration of the event.
