The FoodForward SA Mandela Day Food Drive in partnership with Pick n Pay provides much-needed basic food groceries to vulnerable communities. Every year the aim is to collect hundreds of tons of food, donated by Pick n Pay shoppers during the annual food drive. This initiative helps stock FoodForward SA’s warehouses across the country with essential products for the winter months ahead; ensuring that the nearly 2,500 registered Beneficiary Organisations that FoodForward SA serve each month will continue to provide warm meals to the 875,000 vulnerable people they feed every day.
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
- Visit a Pick n Pay store between 08 – 15 July. Purchase items from our Mandela Day grocery list and place them in the collection trolleys available at all participating PnP stores.
