Exhibition Industry Alliance (EIA) Awards

AAXO & EXSA host the Exhibition Industry Alliance (EIA) Awards

The annual awards are aimed at acknowledging and recognising excellence in the exhibition industry for events that took place during the 2019 calendar year and the winners will be awarded at a celebratory gala function, which will take place on the 31st of January 2020 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

The fourth annual event will again be hosted alongside EXSA’s EXSA-LLENCE Awards, which recognises and celebrates excellence among exhibition suppliers. Aimed at promoting the standardisation of the South African exhibition and events industry, as well as acknowledging and recognising excellence in exhibition organisations, the ROAR Organiser and Exhibitor Awards together with the EXSA-llence Awards are open to all AAXO and EXSA members as long as they have been involved in an exhibition or event during 2019.

The AAXO Organisers who win within their respective categories will receive Recognition and Acknowledgement at the AAXO ROAR (Respect, Opportunities, Achievements and Responsibility) Awards, exposure on the AAXO website as well as media coverage acknowledging their successes.

CATEGORIES
There are 6 main entry participation categories available for entries, of which some are broken down more by size criteria, comprising the following:

  • Trade Exhibition (1-6,000sqm; 6,001-12,000sqm; >12,000sqm)
  • Consumer Exhibition (1-6,000sqm; 6,001-12,000sqm; >12,000sqm)
  • Trade & Consumer Exhibition (1-6,000sqm; 6,001-12,000sqm; >12,000sqm)
  • Confex (1,000sqm or less)
  • Table Top (Limited to 100 international and local suppliers of products & services to the industry)
  • Social Media
  • Exhibitor

Attendees can also look forward to a 007-themed evening and are encouraged to dress the part. After all, this is your License to win!

We make use of well trained, certified, friendly, efficient and helpful staff that will assist in any situation and will provide direct information on any queries. All Seriti Security Services staff are dressed in full, visible branded uniform and are equipped with two-way radios, for fast and effective problem-solving.

 

Seriti Security Services provides event stewards at entrances, loading bays, emergency exits, as well as floor patrol minders.

Gallagher Disaster Management Division

Gallagher Convention Centre has a disaster management division tasked with ensuring that the legal requirements are met for all events. The Gallagher Disaster Management division will be able to provide you with a complete disaster management solution at a very competitive price, no matter the format or size of your event. These services include floor plan evaluation and comment, JOC file compilation and submission as well as designer stand plan submission. Our disaster management division will facilitate EMS inspections, communicate any issues that might arise and assist with the formulation of solutions for issues that were identified. This service includes an onsite safety officer for the duration of the event.
